Feeling bad that I haven't posted for a few days. Worked through some stuff with my coaching group. We had a discussion on the current situation and how to be a conscientious person... how to go about unlearning, reframing, changing behavior and patterns and responses... WITHOUT being performative about it or asking our black friends to help/coach/forgive/instruct. It's a lot to hold, a lot to figure out. And it feels so very very important to do.
I am also balancing the need to have a place to just write about my days... the ways we are finding to incorporate work and life and all of it.
I feel very grateful that my quarantine partner is thoughtful, intelligent, compassionate and not afraid to talk about all the tough stuff. And I am grateful that he took me up to the mountains today to go pick mushrooms.
We wil be back on Saturday, so I will write again then. Until then, enjoy these teaser pics of the first day's haul. Find time to take care of your body, get enough sleep, give your eyes and your heart a little break from social media and eat healthy things. Change is going to take all of us, and our resilience.
Posting the menu for Monday. We will have lots of Porcini to sell fresh, as well as the knock-out Porcini Ragu. Orders for Monday (SF and North Bay delivery) should be placed by Saturday night/Sunday morning. xoxo
